Taxi unrest in Cape Town

Taxi unrest in our city is unfortunately not uncommon. Numerous taxis were driving with all windows and doors open. They also had fellow taxi drivers or supporters leaning out of both the windows and doors.
There was one beautiful site about my morning. See the clouds drooping over Table Mountain? We do live in the most beautiful city, it is just a pit that this unrest has to make our city so ugly.

The taxi business forms an integral part of South Africa's transport system. It's services are however characterised by lawless and disorderly behaviour. It is unfortunate, but with a more focussed program by the Taxi Associations and government, lots can be done to improve the image of the taxi business. I wonder if the taxi drivers would pass the K53tests given by the traffic deparetment. And maybe their "gargies" could be send to a Hotel school to learn the skills of a BUTLER, before they squeeze old ladies into the taxi. With the taxi business' contribution, Cape Town will certainly maintain the status of the most beautiful city in South Africa.
